Vintage Signed TG-134 Taxco Mexico Sterling Silver Black Onyx Abstract Eclipse Kiss Statement Earrings
Circa 1980s. Made in Mexico.
Underside of each earring is stamped "MEXICO TG-134 925".
Circa 1979, the eagle system was put to rest and replaced by a new letter/number mark to indicate the silversmith and guarantee sterling standard. The “T” represents Taxco, and the “G” represents the first initial of the silversmith. The number indicates that the maker is the 134th smith, with a name beginning with G, to register a mark in their city's assay office.
Each earring measures approximately 2.4 inches long by 1.7 inches wide (at widest point).
Earrings have a combined weight of approximately 23.4 grams.
In good condition. Please note that one of the black onyx cabochons has a small inclusion, most likely from its natural form. Silver may have some patina as expected with age & wear. Please see all photos.
