Vintage Signed TO-34 Dulce Taxco Mexico 950 Silver Chunky Modernist Clamper Bracelet
Circa 1980s. Made in Mexico.
Inside of bracelet is stamped "MEXICO", "950", "TO-34", & "DULCE".
Circa 1979, the eagle system was put to rest and replaced by a new letter/number mark to indicate the silversmith and guarantee sterling standard. The “T” represents Taxco, and the “O” represents the first initial of the silversmith. The number indicates that the maker is the 34th smith, with a name beginning with O, to register a mark in their city's assay office.
"Dulce" (often Dulce Plateros) is a well-known silver workshop or artisan brand based in Taxco, Mexico.
Bracelet has an inner circumference of approximately 6.5 inches.
