Vintage Signed TV-55 Taxco Mexico Sterling Silver Geometric Cuff Bracelet
Circa 1980s. Made in Mexico.
Inside of cuff is stamped "MEXICO", "TV-55", & "925".
Circa 1979, the eagle system was put to rest and replaced by a new letter/number mark to indicate the silversmith and guarantee sterling standard. The “T” represents Taxco, and the “V” represents the first initial of the silversmith. The number indicates that the maker is the 55th smith, with a name beginning with V, to register a mark in their city's assay office.
Bracelet measures approximately 2.4 inches long by 1.6 inches wide, and has an opening of approximately 1.25 inches. Will fit a standard sized wrist.
Width of bracelet is approximately 0.45 inch.
Bracelet weighs approximately 19.27 grams.
In good condition with no noticeable flaws. Silver may have some patina as expected with age & wear, but can be polished if you desire. Please see all photos.
