
Vintage Porcelain Medicine Pharmacy APOTHECARY Jar w/ Lid Ascriptin 1940s Japan
This vintage porcelain medicine jar with a lid is a unique collectible piece from the 1940s in Japan. for your apothecary collection. Not extremely old, but has a really cool transfer in beautiful colors. Circa 1940s - Marked MADE IN JAPAN at the bottom with the original paper sticker.
The lid and container have gold detail as well. 2 snakes flank and urn with pink, amber black and blue. Ascripitin (registered trademark symbol) Ascriptin is a former brand of buffered aspirin that contained a combination of aspirin and antacids.
Measures approx 6" tall with the lid on, base is 2-1/2" in diameter.
No chips, cracks or crazing. Shows some age and use.
