Vintage Midcentury Signed WEISS Purple & AB Aurora Borealis Rhinestone Brooch and Clip-on Earrings Set

Back of each earring is signed “WEISS” & brooch is unsigned.
Albert Weiss founded his company in New York in 1942. Weiss imported rhinestone from Austria, created ornaments by hand. Later, Weiss Jewelry Company was handed over to his son Michael, but he could not maintain its relevance in the market and in 1971 the company ceased to exist. Today jewelry by Albert Weiss enjoys unprecedented popularity among the fashionistas and lovers of vintage.
Brooch measures approximately 2.6 inches long by 1.9 inches wide.
Each earring measures approximately 0.9 inch long by 0.75 inch wide (at widest point).
