Vintage 1967 Midcentury Signed DITLEV DANMARK Denmark Fat Lava Red Glazed Ceramic Bowl 1960s
Circa 1967, Midcentury.
Bottom of bowl is signed “DITLEV DANMARK”.
Henrik Ditlev Larsen originally worked as a potter at the Lars Syberg Pottery in the 1940s and 1950s. He subsequently worked with Bjorn Wiinblad and made blanks for Winblad who would decorate them. In 1956 Ditlev started his own pottery at Lyngby and later worked with Wiinblad again in the 1970s at the Nymolle pottery.
Measures approximately 5.5 inches wide by 2.1 inches tall.
