Vintage 1960s Midcentury ORB Otto Robert Bade Sterling Silver Modernist Brooch
Circa 1960s, Midcentury.
Underside of brooch is stamped "Orb STERLING".
Otto Robert Bade, born in 1921, served as the foreman for Rebajes Jewelry during the 1940s and 50s. When Frank Rebajes decided to sell his famous company and move to Spain in the late 1950s, Bade purchased Frank Rebajes' catalog designs and machinery and started his own company under the name of Orb Originals in 1960.
Brooch measures approximately 1.8 inches long by 0.9 inch wide (at widest points).
Weighs approximately 4.82 grams.
In good condition with no noticeable flaws. Silver may have some patina as expected with age & wear, but can be polished if you desire. Please see all photos.
