Vintage 1930s Art Deco Czech Guilloche Enamel Floral Mirror Compact Made in Czechoslovakia
Circa 1930s, Art Deco. Made in Czechoslovakia.
Inner edge of mirror is stamped “MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA”. No visible maker’s marks.
Features a beautifully hand painted floral design on the lid set against a white background, and bordered by a red Guilloche enamel edge that adds depth and shimmer. The compact opens to reveal its original mirror and gold tone interior, once used to hold powder. Would also make a great pill box.
Compact has a diameter of approximately 1.45 inches.
In good condition. Metal has some minor dents as to be expected for its age. Enamel is in excellent condition with no noticeable flaws. Please see all photos.
