Antique Mourning Brooch Hair Jewelry Beveled Glass Rectangular Pin w/ C Clasp Blonde & Brunette
Circa 19th Century, Victorian Era.
This lovely rectangular mourning brooch is brass with beautiful ornate detailing on the frame.
Features two styles of hair — one blonde and one brunette — carefully arranged beneath the original beveled glass cover. The presence of both hair colors may signify rememberance of two loved ones.
The hardware is a C clasp, indicative of the Victorian Era.
This is a larger brooch measuring approximately 1.45 inches long by 1.2 inches wide.
On the back, across to the end of the pin stem extends beyond the edge of the piece.
