Vintage HARDO Germany Mfg. Co. Borosilicate Jena Glass 10cc Syringe Clear & Blue 2 Pc

Syringe comes apart into two pieces, clear barrel and blue plunger, both are made of Jena glass.
Jena glass was invented in Jena, Germany in 1884 by Otto Schott, and is a shock- and heat-resistant glass used in scientific and technological applications, especially in chemistry.

Syringe is marked from 1 to 10 cc and has triangular Hardo mark. Believed to be from the 1940s, but unable to definitively date.
Syringe (altogether) measures approximately 4.6 inches long. Clear and blue piece measure approximately 3.9 inches long, on their own.

In great condition with no noticeable chips, cracks, etc. Please note that there is a black line going down the clear piece, which is presumably from production. At the 10cc mark, the 0 has been rubbed away (looks like a 1).

The book is NOT part of the sale. For display only.
