Beautiful hand carved shell portrait cameo. Woman is facing right. High relief.
Cameo bezel is stamped “800” and has no visible maker’s marks.
The edge has a tiny rope twist resembling milgrain on a ring.
Can be worn as a brooch or as a pendant; small loop at the top that would need an added jump ring or bail to hang correctly.
Measures approximately 1.5 inches long by 1.1 inches wide.
Weighs approximately 6.52 grams.
