Back of each earring is stamped “STERLING GERMANY” and appears to have a maker’s mark.
Unsigned but attributed to Alice Caviness.
Alice Caviness was a Long Island, New York jewelry designer who started a company of the same name in the 1940s. She retired in 1970 but her company continued making jewelry until 2000. Alice Caviness jewelry is known for its imaginative designs and high quality materials, Caviness pieces were originally sold in exclusive, high-end shops and boutiques.
Each earring measures approximately 2 inches long by 0.5 inch wide (at widest point).
Earrings have a combined weight of approximately 5.44 grams.
In good condition with no noticeable flaws. Earrings have some patina as expected with age & wear, but can be polished if you desire. Please see all photos.
