Vintage 1950s Signed DCE 14K Gold Filled Tiger's Eye Cylindrical Necklace 16"
Underside of clasp is stamped "d c e" & "14K GF".
Known since 1936, Providence Rhode Island company Curtis Jewelry Mfg Co produced high quality jewelry. These were silver and gilded ornaments with semiprecious stones and ivory – brooches, clips, and necklaces. However, the history of Curtis is inextricably linked with another Providence company, Uncas Manufacturing Co., part of which it became in 1936.
Necklace measures approximately 16 inches long.
Tiger's eye beads measure approximately 6mm, and cylinder measures approximately 0.9 inch long by 0.3 inch wide.
Necklace weighs approximately 7 grams.
