Wood box has original label which reads "G.E. A.C. AMMETER SERIAL # 125176. 0-60 AMPERES."
Ammeter reads "THOMSON ALTERNATING AMMETER NO125176 TYPE P GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., U.S.A. PAT. JULY 16 '95 APR. 2, 1901"
Side of box and underside of ammeter base are both stamped "NYC & HRRR".

Box measures approximately 7.1 inches long by 6.75 inches wide and 4.4 inches tall.
