The Gudebrod Brothers Silk Co., founded in the late 19th century by German immigrants, was a renowned American manufacturer of silk threads, medical sutures, and fishing line. Based primarily in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
Please note that box only contains 11 spools of silk, not 12 as mentioned on box.
Box is also labeled "BAMBON 520".
Threads included are all neutral colors, shades of beige, tan, brown, & grey.
Underside of box also has original retail sticker, from Frederick Loeser & Co. Inc.
Box measures approximately 4.1 inches long by 3.1 inches wide, by 1.1 inches deep.
